A private interoperable network, powered by Hedera technology

As an EVM-compatible private network, HashSphere is built to connect seamlessly to other private networks, the Hedera public network and even other public chains—so your assets are never trapped and you’re never locked into a single vendor.

Available as a managed service offering or fully-hosted infrastructure, HashSphere users benefit from Hedera infrastructure in a private network setting with SLAs and 24/5 support.

Hedera at the core

HashSphere is powered by Hedera

With its fast, scalable, and compliant architecture, Hedera is ideal for regulated industries where performance and compliance matter.

  • Deterministic finality in seconds: Designed for trust and compliance, all network transactions are finalized in under 3 seconds and can’t be reversed.
  • Fast: Hashgraph technology enables the Hedera network to process more than 10,000 transactions per second.
  • Fair by design: Transactions are ordered by consensus timestamps, ensuring fair sequencing and built-in resistance to front running.

What makes HashSphere unique

Natively Event-Driven

Hashgraph consensus powers HashSphere

Unlike other private, permissioned networks on the market, HashSphere consensus timestamps cannot be manipulated. It’s based on the hashgraph consensus algorithm where all nodes deterministically reach the same result, ensuring fair sequencing and built-in resistance to front running.

Choose your own validators

You control the governance model

The validator set is chosen by the stand-alone private network, which is not a subnet on a public network. There is no central routing party, the network chooses its own governance model. And the network is built on standard EVM infrastructure, compatible with the broader ecosystem of tooling, custody, and development talent.

Transaction Privacy

In network transaction confidentiality

Transaction privacy is enforced cryptographically through zkSNARKs and encrypted balance, so no party, including the network operator, can see transaction content. Transactions settle in under 3-5 seconds and are mathematically guaranteed with hashgraph consensus fair ordering.

Introducing CLPR–a new Cross-Ledger Protocol

CLPR (pronounced “clipper”) moves value natively between ledgers cryptographically–without intermediaries and bridges. It enables interoperability between private network Spheres, the Hedera public network and even other public networks outside of the Hedera ecosystem to unlock greater sources of liquidity.

Trusted for the real world

We chose HashSphere— a private network— primarily for regulatory reasons, however, we also needed interoperability for the seamless and transparent swap of stablecoins between Hedera and HashSphere, and even Ethereum.

“We’re aiming to leverage HashSphere to verify, track, and maintain critical data over time across multiple insurance parties. The vision is to tokenize risk assets to create a persistent, unique identifier that serves as a shared data foundation for the risk management and insurance industry.”

Hedera Ecosystem

Independent organizations sit at the core of the Hedera ecosystem

At the center of the Hedera network is a collaboration of independent entities: Hashgraph is the development labs team behind Hedera’s best-in-class technology and provider of HashSphere and CLPR, the Cross-Ledger Protocol. Hedera Council is a group of up to 39 leading institutions that govern the Hedera public network. Each entity works independently but cohesively to play a critical role in the Hedera network’s growth.
